I am delighted to share this message as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal Region, under the guidance of KVS (HQ) New Delhi, continues to strive towards setting the highest standards of excellence in the field of national education. In a culturally diverse nation like India, education is not merely a medium of knowledge but also a vehicle for social harmony, moral values, and a strong sense of duty towards the nation. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established by the Government of India in 1963 with the objective of providing quality, consistent, and uninterrupted education to the children of defence personnel, paramilitary forces, central government employees, and other transferable staff. Today, KVS has evolved into a powerful educational network not only in India but also abroad, where lakhs of students are being nurtured by thousands of teachers who are committed to imparting knowledge, values, and life skills. India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020) calls for a transformational shift in the educational system. It focuses not only on curriculum and examination reforms but emphasizes inclusive, multidisciplinary, and student-centric learning. In alignment with the guiding principles of NEP 2020, KVS has initiated several key reforms, such as: • Implementation of Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) at the primary level • Promotion of multilingual education • Integration of art and sports into classroom learning • Focus on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy All these initiatives aim to prepare students not only for examinations but for life. Our dedicated teachers are not just providers of knowledge; they are mentors, guides, and motivators. Their role extends beyond the classroom as they inspire curiosity, promote self-learning, and shape students into responsible citizens. Through continuous training programs, workshops, and innovation, our teachers are committed to keeping their teaching practices updated and effective. Students of KVS are recognized across the country for their academic achievements, discipline, and ethical values. Their outstanding performance in board examinations, and their excellence in fields like science, sports, arts, and culture, along with their participation in national and international forums, bring us immense pride. The focus in our schools has shifted from rote learning to holistic development. This is the era of digital revolution, and education is no exception. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KVS made commendable strides in adopting technology for online learning. We effectively implemented e-content, virtual classrooms, teacher-generated digital resources, and platforms like SWAYAM. We continue to work towards making teaching and learning more engaging, inclusive, and impactful through the integration of technology. In addition, our schools are promoting innovation through ATL (Atal Tinkering Labs), Coding Clubs, and Robotics Workshops, encouraging students to think creatively and solve real-world problems. KVS emphasizes transparency, accountability, and community participation in its academic and administrative activities. Parent participation in school management committees, regular open meetings, and feedback mechanisms help us strengthen and refine our operations. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an Autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development , Which provides education to the common section of society. In 1977, Kendriya Vidyalaya Bairagarh has been establish under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan , Head Quarter Delhi and work under the direction / able guidance of Regional Office Bhopal. In the Vidyalaya, the Modern approach is applied in the Teaching Learning Process for setting up an ideal Indian Heritage and Cultural based educational foundation. Students are prepared in such a way that they could establish themselves as a responsible person /Citizen in the Society. As Kendriya Vidyalaya Bairagarh, right from its establishment has made a remarkable performance. So today it has secured an image of an institute for better education and discipline among other educational Institutes. There have been continuous progress in the Vidyalaya. There are 4 sections running from class 1st to 12th in the school. For classes 11th and 12th Science, Commerce and Arts Streams are available. For the all-round development of the students Sports, Scout & Guide, Cub Bulbul and teaching learning activities are taken up regularly. Also students have achieved a remarkable progress in all these activities. The NCC unit is also running in the Vidyalaya. Today more than 1850 students are studying in the Vidyalaya also with 74 regular teaching staff, 12 Contractual employees and 12 samvidha employee, nearly about 100 skilled human resources are involved in the progressive development of the students and the society. The Vidyalaya is spread in an area of 13 acres of land in which there are four buildings with 48 classes and 20 different labs and departments are working in it. The evergreen and floral gardens and lawns of the Vidyalaya enhances the beauty of the school and give us a pleasant feeling. Smart Classes , Multimedia, CMP and new renovated rooms and class rooms always encourages , inspires and excites the students. Safe , clean and cool drinking water and water for other purposes are available continuously .The Vidyalaya Management Committee is ever ready to support for the development of the school. For the same , the school hopes and looks forward , the help and cooperation ever required from the VMC,PTA and Alumni and we ever express our heartfelt gratitude towards them.
