On 6th May 1988 the Vidyalaya shifted into the new building which was inaugurated by Dr. R. C. Sharma, the then Commissioner. Since its inception in the year 1975 Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bairagarh has traversed a long way to become a major institution in inculcating values, discipline, and academic excellence and in developing leadership qualities in the students’ through its wide range of activities.PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Bairagarh was set up in the Army Barracks of 3 EME Centre in the year 1975 to cater to the educational needs of the transferable Central Government employees including Defence & Para-Military personnel’s.
